Product Detail

* equipment from Red pack and 1st edition Paediatric Resuscitation Codex shown for illustrative purposes onlyProviding optimal advanced paediatric life support relies not only on rapid calculation and administration of interventions, but also on efficient use of resuscitation equipment. In conventional resuscitation systems, equipment is arranged in a "resus trolley" or "crash cart" on an intervention basis, or using a variation based on the Broselow™ Pediatric Emergency Tape. On arrival at the scene, the resuscitation team must quickly and accurately calculate drug doses while often reliant on a single team member to access and distribute appropriately sized equipment from the trolley. We aim to streamline the resuscitation process by providing a standard reference tool, the Paediatric Resuscitation Codex, and a series of colour-coded ready to use packs to facilitate the calculation of drug doses and the selection of equipment, respectively. This system also enables multiple clinicians to access the appropriate equipment from one source rather than waiting for equipment to be located and then handed over.

Extra Info

The coloured packs are coded according to five age and/or weight groups and contain provision for generic equipment, such as face masks, guedel airways, intubation tools, nasogastric equipment, cannulation and blood sampling kit, blood pressure cuffs and oximetry leads. Each pack can be laid out on the patient's bed and allows multiple users to access equipment easily.
